speaking of jane's addiction,i recall an interview with garcia in relix or maybe dupree's when asked if he listens to any new music that was current at the time and he mention nothing shocking and that it was great album and band....jerry kicking back to summer time rolls gotta love it.

agreed - the best "non-dead" ripple ive ever heard by far. Perry actually does it great justice and with great respect. would expect nothing less from that artist.

I remember when i was working a slave-job for Newbury Comics in their warehouse and Nothing Shocking came out. A real huge seller. Shit, we were boxing up reams of that album for the stores. But, i didn't really know the band that well, and didn't really appreciate Perry's genius until i saw the film 'The Gift' and i was like, whoa! this is some very cool music. Got a copy of their live show 8/16/91 Lake Fairfax (near DC anyway) a few months ago offa DIME. The first time i listened to it was the first time i'd heard Jane's Addiction live, and i was like, shit, these guys could really swing an audience. Perry himself had a great rapport with the aud and great stage banter. I mean, it was a really cool live show. In fact, deleting the Dead, input JA. In fact, don't even ask, i'm burning you the disc...

cool man - i have virtually no live Janes - that would be awesome. Got some compilations in the mail over the past couple of months from McGlone that you might be interested in.
Will email you tomorrow - got your email but im too buzzed and tired and respond intelligently at the moment :) by the way - very nice organized list - holy shit man - i think i need that program (cant remember it now)
methinks we can do some exchanges though :) either that, or it is the booze talkin - lol
that jane's show would be awesome if you can get it to me:)
